It’s every Nerfer for themselves!. BRING your own Nerf blaster(s) or use one of ours. We will provide elite/koosh style darts. All players are expected to help sweep (pick up) darts after each game mode. Children participating must be able to follow directions, be good sports and be team players (no bad language allowed). All players must have eye protection for each round. And full face masks are prohibited. Please review these Rules with your Nerfers prior to attending the session: Terminology: We use blasters, not guns. We use darts, not bullets. We tag each other and take “hits” during play. RULES: 1. Don’t be a jerk. Be courteous/cautious of others! Poor sportsmanship, bad attitudes, and cheating ruin the fun and will not be tolerated. Physical threats will result in immediate expulsion. Don’t do it, even as an empty threat.
2. Moderators Moderators will call hits, help everyone observe the rules and abide by rule 1. DO NOT ARGUE WITH THEM. If they call a hit on you, take it. If they point out a rule to you, follow it. This allows EVERYONE to spend more time playing and less time debating.
3. Safety First. Events are attended at your own risk. Eye protection is mandatory for all participants. (ie: glasses, sunglasses, clear face shield, goggles, etc.) Physical contact with other players is prohibited. NO POINT BLANK SHOTS ABOVE THE NECK! Point your blaster low and aim for the torso/legs.
4. “HOLD” At any time during a round, a "Hold" may be called to pause that round. Players should repeat the call of “Hold” so that all other players hear until the round stops completely. If a pedestrian is walking through the field, if a player is injured or if there is some other threat to personal safety, you are obligated to call “hold”. Do NOT move or change field position while a hold is called until play resumes!
5. Equipment. Don't touch other people's equipment without asking! Bring your own Blasters and Bombs! We will have a limited supply of blasters and eye protection to loan. We will provide elite darts and sock bombs. Modified blasters, elite darts, and half darts are permitted. Unmarked Equipment is hard to identify! Mark all of your equipment with a permanent marker to avoid loss/ confusion. You may not modify GSC darts to fit half dart clips.
ALL MODIFIED BLASTERS MUST BE APPROVED BY A MODERATOR BEFORE USE! BRING A BACKUP OPTION! Blasters may not be painted to look like real guns and must have an orange tip. Shields may be used for most game-types. Weapons and shields can block darts, but sock bombs count as “shield buster” rounds. A hit to the shield will cause you to lose it for the remainder of the round. Shields may not be used as weapons NO UMBRELLAS as shields. FPS limit is 150, if you have an unmodified stock blaster, you are well within this limit.
6. Gameplay A 'hit' or 'tag' is when a dart contacts your person, clothing, or blaster. When you are hit, raise your blaster or free arm above your head and return to your spawn point for the specified time. CALL AND TAKE YOUR HITS. If you are not sure that you hit someone, don't call the hit. When in doubt, just take the hit (see rule 1).
NO ARGUING. TAKE THE HIT. Darts may NOT be picked up while respawning. Ammo carried on your person may be used to reload while re-spawning. Specific rules and limitations may apply depending on the game being played, these rules will be explained before each game. A whistle will signal the beginning and end of each round. A dart sweep will occur between every round of play and the next round will not begin until this occurs. ALL PLAYERS MUST HELP TO COLLECT DARTS - Please let your children know they need to participate in this! This session is sure to be popular and we want everyone to have a chance to play, so please arrive 10 minutes early.
Gameschooling parents, former students and educators will answer questions ranging from “How do I get started?” “Which games are educational?” “What games should I buy and where can I find them?” “What about ‘screen time?’” and “What is gaming etiquette?” There will be plenty of time to ask your questions, too! For new and continuing gameschooling families.

ThunderRoad: Vendetta is a fast paced racing game in which you take control of a group of three cars in a race to the death. Shoot, air strike and nitro boost your way to victory in a series of turns where you assign dice, move your cars, slam other players off the road and try to be the first to get to the finish line or eliminate all opponents. This game is pretty easy to pick up with enough strategy to keep you engaged the whole way through.
In this game, your useless knowledge will win you useful points. Think fast, not hard in this merciless word-shouting board game. Start by drawing a category card. Your team will then shout words from that category that begin with the letter on the race track. Move along the track every time you get a word right and race against your opponents to win.
Hogwash, a game in the Unleashed setting by Privateer Press, 4 players ages 11+ Premise: In the wild lands of the Iron Kingdoms, your group assembles to investigate why the river is drying up. Is it being caused by Warlord Morrg, whose recent raids on local villages have been causing problems?

Artist Trading Cards Funshop - Open to All Ages! What are Artist Trading Cards? Artist Trading Cards (ATCs) are simply pieces of art that are made out of cards measuring 2.5”by 3.5”. You can buy special paper already cut to this size, or better yet, simply use sturdy paper you already have at home. Old file folders, card stock, greeting cards – any paper that is not flimsy – can be cut to the right dimensions and used as an ATC. Think about baseball trading cards and look for paper about that weight. Or, be creative and use materials other than paper. Just keep to the 2.5” x 3.5” size. Once you have your 2.5 x 3.5” card, what you do with it is up to you. Draw on it, paint, collage, sew, embellish, write words. In an ATCs funshop, all of the participants share materials, themes, techniques and ideas with others in the funshop to make unique ATCs. And we always schedule time for trading/swapping finished cards too.
