Adelita is an indigenous/Chicana woman dedicated to the decolonization of educational models. She is a voice for child liberation and enjoys connecting with other homeschoolers in an effort to build a thriving homeschool community. She can be found hosting Nerf Battles, Laser Tag sessions, Pool Parties and other fun and exciting (or just plain ridiculous) events at this conference and others! IRL, Adelita is a mom to three sons and grandma to two who works as a cinematographer and content creator. Her youngest son has been exclusively unschooled with a dollop of world schooling and a generous helping of Gameschooling mixed in. She’s an active member of her local homeschooling communities and volunteers with both local and statewide homeschooling organizations with the aim of fostering community and helping others enjoy the benefits and joys of homeschooling.
