About me
Shaun Biegler was raised in New England and brought up unschooled by his parents. As a child he became very interested in Pokemon cards and Yugioh with the latter of the two being extremely helpful in simple math and helped to make the subject far more approachable. A game that would define one of his major interests even to this day was the game Age of Mythology. A real-time strategy game directly inspired by several ancient mythologies including Greek, Egyptian, and Norse. He fell in love with learning more and more about these fantastical stories and would spend hours reading first in the game then in books about these mythologies. At unschooling conferences with his family, Shaun’s love for games would become the connective tissue for him and his friends, many of whom he met because of gaming, for many long years to come. One game in particular, a social deduction game by the name of Werewolves of Miller’s Hollow, proved to be a smash hit and playing and running these games were a highlight through the years. Now an adult, gaming has continued to be an important hobby for Shaun whether it’s spent together with friends or on his own enjoying his own private adventure. Shaun works as a Senior Games Associate at GameStop and is a creative volunteer for The Story School, a summer camp that combines stories with STEM education to create live action role playing adventures for kids and teens
